nbworldwide Announces Live Blog Feed.

nbworldwide Corporate's recent investment (2.99 US) in the Blogpress app allows us to blog live with our iphone, vastly expanding coverage of the national art fair scene.

News categories will include:

1. "Under The Canopy." Up to the minute reporting of what's going on in our booth including portraits of our favorite customers.
2. "Neighborhood Report" Hourly update of what's happening in the booths around us.
3. "You Call This Food?": What's edible and what's been sitting in the sun too long and will guarantee you'll come down with a serious case of food poisoning?
4. "Fair Weather". Is it windy, when is it going to rain and are we scared to death that our booth will be torn to shreds by a micro-burst and the EZ-up next door?
5. "Gossip". Who are the stars of the show of whom everyone is jealous? How in the world did the jury pick that, what were they thinking? Did that artist photoshop their images for Zapplication?
6. "Shoe Shots" Photos of patrons footwear, tackling such serious questions as: Why do so many art fair patrons wear shoes that are too small for their feet? We'll provide on the spot analysis of the phenomenon of "Toe Hang".
7. "Dollar Discussion " Are artists selling anything (besides the guys who sell stuff on a stick), and why do they come back year after year, are art fair artists hopeful idiots?"
8. "Exit Strategies" How in the hell are we going to get out of here at the end of the show?
9. " Made in USA or What?" Who's actually having their artwork fabricated in third world countries?
10. "Celebrity Sightings" Up to the minute reports of the appearance of "The Man With the Cockatoo", exceptional art fair outfits, sightings of Oprah, members of the Obama family and Hollywood celebrities. (Does anyone know the Cockatoo's name?)
11. "Dog Patrol" Snapshots of canine fashion at the fair.
12. "Promoter Purgatory" Here you'll view creative use of space where promoters place exhibitors to enlarge their fairs: featuring artists booths in parking lots and loading docks nowhere near the show, amazing exhibits installed on 70 degree inclines, spaces that are only dry at low tide, the booth next to the park's dog-poop can, and legendary wind tunnels where thousands of canopies have been twisted and mangled over the years.
13. "Madison Art Fair on The Square Subversion Special" At this years fair, participants scattered incognito throughout the crowd will attempt to invert the direction of fair patrons movement around the capital from clockwise to counter clockwise.
14. "nbworldwide Best of Show Awards" We pick what we like the best at the show. To hell with the jurors awards, all they provide is a ribbon and some money and an invitation to return to the show next year, we provide priceless publicity on the nbworldwide blog, which would you pick if you had a choice?

(Watch out Huffington Post, here we come.)

nb Worldwide Celebrates Our 17th Anniversary With Miele White Star VC #1.

nb Worldwide is pleased and proud to celebrate the 17th consecutive year that we have been working with Miele Corporation's compact powerhouse of a vacuum cleaner affectionately known as nb Worldwide VC #1. This dynamic machine has been capturing dust and debris in our house and studio for seventeen consecutive years with only one short two day break at the local vacuum repair shop for badly needed cord replacement surgery. VC # 1 has proven to be among our corporation's wisest long term investments. The daily cost of the use of this machine when ammortized over a seventeen year span is approximately 2 cents per day, which we think is a real bargain.

We Did Not Have Any Contact With The Current Governer.

We are proud to have deep roots in the State of Illinois but wanted to let our public know that neither nb Worldwide nor any of our officers or employees have had contact with the Governer or any of his operatives in the last six months. We are absolutely certain that no individual associated with our organization offered any future political favors, free vases, cups, teapots, tiles, plates, mini tumblers, or cash in exchange for the recently vacated seat in the United States Senate (even though we think we are qualified and deserve the job).

nancyandburt Worldwide's First Annual Theme Song Contest (With A Prize.)

During a meeting at our annual pre Thanksgiving retreat our corporate officers had a long and heated discussion pertaining to the sad fact that nancyandburt Worldwide is badly in need of a theme song. Most corporations with a worldwide reach have theme songs and since we mean to be taken seriously by the world we realized that we need one too. None of us are professional musicians so the board wisely decided to sponsor a public competition. Applicants must strictly adhere to all rules listed below (or we will throw your entry in the trash).

The Rules.
1. Theme song must be submitted in playable form (cd, mp3, etc.) Sheet music and notation will not be considered. Cassette and 8 Track tapes will not be accepted. Theme song may be emailed via the link or sent to the street address on our website.
2. Theme song must be loopable so it can be played continuously while viewing the blog.
3. Theme song may not contain any obscene or lewd content.
4. Theme song must be original, composed and performed by contest applicant.
5. Theme song should be from 40 to 80 seconds in duration.
6. Only one theme song entry will be considered per applicant.

Contest Rules.
1. Contest submissions will be judged by a jury selected by our board. Theme songs submitted by employees or relatives of nb Worldwide or the jurors will not be considered.
2. There will only be one winner and prize, there is no second or third prize.
3. Winner will be announced on March 1, 2009 on this blog.
4. Application deadline is Feb. 15, 2009.
5. Applicant must supply their legal name, address, nationality. Since this is a contest for a worldwide corporation applicant is encouraged to be a citizen of any nation in the world.
6. Winning applicant must agree in writing to release all rights for us to play the theme song on our blog and web site in exchange for the prize. No additional royalties will be paid. Applicant should be prepared to be grateful for receiving the huge amount of attention that will accrue having their theme song played constantly on the nancyandburt Worldwide blog and web site.
7. If we don't receive anything that our jurors like the theme song will be "The Sound Of Philly" Also known as the Soul Train Theme. Don't say we didn't warn you. (nancy is from Philadelphia.)

More fine print.
1. If Desmond dances to your theme song the chances of winning are greatly enhanced. See notes about Desmond at blog profile. There is a photo of Desmond "ready to dance" on the blog post of Friday August 8, 2008. You can view footage of an African Grey parrot dancing at the following link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ch6lFDWRR0U This is Desmond's general style of dancing.

2. The prize is guaranteed to be of at least one hundred dollar retail value.
